STEM – EN ESPAÑOL – Fall 2026
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Through hands-on learning, children explore these subjects together while developing creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and Spanish language fluency through immersion.
What will the children do in STEM classes each week?
Each week, children will participate in engaging, hands-on activities conducted entirely in Spanish. They will investigate, create, experiment, and discover while building:
*Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
*Observation and inquiry skills
*Early engineering and math concepts
Hands-On Learning Experience – Children learn by doing! They will explore with materials such as water, sand, magnets, ramps, building materials, shadows, and simple machines while making predictions, testing ideas, and discovering solutions. Our teachers nurture curiosity by asking open-ended questions like:
*What do you notice?
*What happened?
*What did you try?
*What do you think will happen if…?
*What else could you try?
Every activity encourages children to explore, discover, and build a strong foundation in STEM—all while learning in Spanish!
